Founded in 1996, Döhle Assekuranzkontor is an independent marine insurance broker with a clear focus on the maritime industry. Our team of more than 30 experienced insurance and shipping specialists delivers comprehensive marine insurance solutions, combining excellent claims handling and administration with tailored consulting services.
In 2004, our department responsible for non-marine and private lines was restructured, laying the foundation for steady and continuous growth ever since.

We maintain strong, long-standing relationships with insurance companies worldwide, vast majority of which we approach directly. Where appropriate, or where local regulations require the involvement of a local broker, we work closely with a network of highly competent international partners.
Together with our clients, we carefully select risk carriers based on individual preferences, claims-handling expertise, and any additional requirements.

Our team manages each claim in close cooperation with insurers and, where appointed, expert loss adjusters, ensuring a prompt, coordinated, and efficient claims process at all times. We also act as P&I correspondents for different International Group of P&I Clubs, underscoring the reliability, competence, and support our clients can expect from us.
